Go to https://labour.gov.in and look for the "Track Application" or "Check Status" section.
Enter the reference number, acknowledgment ID, or application number you received at the time of submission.
Complete verification as required by the portal.
View the current status — whether your Relieving Letter / Release Letter is under review, approved, dispatched, or if any action is needed from your side.
Send formal email request. If still denied, can approach labor commissioner.
Most companies require it for background verification. Very important document.
