Visit the UIDAI website and find the nearest enrollment center using the locator tool.
Complete the Aadhaar enrollment form with your personal details at the center.
Provide original documents for Proof of Identity and Proof of Address.
Your photograph, fingerprints, and iris scan will be captured.
You'll get an acknowledgment slip with Enrollment ID to track your application.
After 10-15 days, download your e-Aadhaar from the UIDAI website using your Enrollment ID.

Enter your 12-digit Aadhaar number or 16-digit Virtual ID (VID).
Click "Send OTP" — a one-time password will be sent to your Aadhaar-linked mobile number.
Enter the OTP received and click "Download Aadhaar".
The downloaded PDF is password-protected. The password is the first 4 letters of your name (in capitals) followed by your birth year (e.g., ANIL1990).
After enrolling or updating your Aadhaar, you can check the status of your application online using your Enrollment ID or URN (Update Request Number).
