Land owners for ownership proof, loan applications, and legal purposes
Go to your state's Bhulekh/land records website.
Choose your district, tehsil, and village.
Enter survey/plot number or owner's name.
Check Khata/Jamabandi/7-12/ROR showing ownership and cultivation details.
Download digital copy for reference.
Visit Tehsil office for certified copy if needed for legal purposes.
To update information in your Land Records (Khata/Jamabandi/Patta) — such as ownership details, address, or other records — visit the relevant land records authority or municipal office online or in person.
Go to https://dolr.gov.in/ or your local sub-registrar/municipal office.
File a request for mutation or correction of records with the appropriate authority.
Submit ownership proof, identity documents, and any other required paperwork.
Pay the mutation or correction fee as applicable in your state.
Officials may conduct a physical verification before approving changes.
Once approved, the updated records will be available on the portal or issued as a new document.
Property records including Land Records (Khata/Jamabandi/Patta) can often be downloaded from your state's land records portal. These digital copies are legally valid for many official purposes.

Enter your survey number, property ID, or khasra number to find your records.
Download the property record as a PDF or take an official DigiLocker copy.
You can check the registration or mutation status of your Land Records (Khata/Jamabandi/Patta) through your state's land records portal using the property or document registration number.
Go to https://dolr.gov.in/ or your state's Stamp & Registration portal.
Provide the property registration number or document number from your receipt.
Check whether the registration or mutation is complete and when it was last updated.
