Get 12-digit Universal Account Number (UAN) and E-Shram card via SMS and email.
To update your E-Shram Card details — such as registered mobile number, address, or linked records — log in to the official portal and use the profile update or settings section.
Visit https://eshram.gov.in and log in using your registered credentials or OTP.
Go to your profile or account settings section.
Choose the detail you want to change on your E-Shram Card.
Verify the change with an OTP sent to your registered mobile number or email.
Confirm and save the updated information. Changes typically take effect immediately.
You can download your E-Shram Card as a PDF or access it digitally through the official portal or ABHA / DigiLocker platform.

Navigate to your profile or the card/document section.
Select "Download Card" or "Export PDF" to get your digital copy.
Save on your device or upload to DigiLocker for secure cloud storage.

Yes, self-employed workers in unorganized sector can register on E-Shram.
E-Shram is a national database. State labour cards may still be required for state-specific benefits.
Any worker in the unorganized sector aged between 16 and 59 years is eligible. This includes construction workers, migrant laborers, street vendors, and domestic workers. They must NOT be a member of EPFO/ESIC or an income taxpayer.
Registered workers get a unique 12-digit UAN, and immediate accidental insurance cover of ₹2 Lakhs under PMSBY. In the future, social security benefits and direct benefit transfers during crises will be routed through this database.
