Select your pension type (Central Govt, State Govt, EPFO EPS-95, or Defence SPARSH), Disbursing Agency (your bank or PCDA Allahabad), and enter your PPO and Bank Account Number.
Blink during the front-camera face scan to complete biometric liveness detection. Upon successful authentication, a unique Pramaan ID is generated.

How to update your residential address, mobile number, or bank account for pension credits:
Log into your respective pension portal (bhavishya.nic.in, sparsh.defencepension.gov.in, or epfindia.gov.in).
Choose 'Change of Bank Account' or 'Address Updation'.
Upload a scanned cancelled cheque showing your name, account number, and IFSC code.
The CPAO or PCDA verifies and approves the new disbursement bank within 15–30 days.

Input the Pramaan ID received on SMS following facial or biometric authentication.
Enter the 6-digit OTP sent to your registered mobile number.

A Pension Payment Order (PPO) Number is a unique 12-digit reference number assigned to every pensioner by the Central Pension Accounting Office (CPAO), state treasury, EPFO, or PCDA SPARSH. It serves as the master key required for tracking monthly pension credits, applying for commutation, and submitting annual Digital Life Certificates.
1) Install 'AadhaarFaceRD' and 'Jeevan Pramaan' apps from Google Play Store on an Android phone (v9.0+). 2) Open Jeevan Pramaan, enter your Aadhaar and mobile OTP. 3) Enter your PPO number, pension type, and bank account. 4) Look into the front camera and blink when prompted for live facial recognition. 5) A Pramaan ID is generated, and the life certificate is automatically submitted to your pension disbursing bank or SPARSH without visiting any branch.
1) Visit the official Member Passbook portal on epfindia.gov.in. 2) Select 'Pensioners' Portal > Know Your PPO Number'. 3) Enter your 12-digit Bank Account Number or Member ID. 4) Click 'Submit' to display your 12-digit EPS-95 PPO Number.
SPARSH (System for Pension Administration (Raksha)) is the Ministry of Defence web portal (sparsh.defencepension.gov.in) that directly credits pensions into the bank accounts of Defence veterans (Army, Navy, Air Force, and Defence Civilians) without bank intermediaries. Pensioners can log in to view pension slips, Form 16, and submit DLCs.
Under the Indira Gandhi National Old Age Pension Scheme (IGNOAPS), the Central Government provides ₹200–₹500/month, and State Governments supplement this with state contributions ranging from ₹1,000/month (UP, Bihar, MP) to ₹2,500–₹3,000/month (Delhi, Haryana, Telangana) directly credited via DBT.
