How to use it
- Add your image. JPG, PNG and WEBP all work; HEIC from iPhones is converted in the browser.
- Pick the size. Enter pixels or cm (with your DPI), or a target KB. You can set a minimum and a maximum, like 20–50 KB.
- Choose the format. Use JPG or WEBP when the form has a KB limit. PNG is lossless, so its file size can’t be targeted.
- Download. Check the preview and download when it looks right.

Good to know
- When the image has to fit an exact frame, “Fit + fill” pads the gaps with a colour you choose; use white for most government forms.
Image Resizer (KB, px, cm) is a free tool by ExamDetail. It is not a government service; acceptance of uploaded files is decided by the exam conducting body.
