Buy your FASTag from any NETC-member bank (SBI, ICICI Bank, HDFC, Axis Bank, Airtel Payments Bank, etc.) or at toll plaza POS counters.
Upload a scanned copy of your Vehicle RC and Aadhaar/PAN KYC document during online purchase or POS registration.
Clean the top-middle area behind the rear-view mirror on the vehicle windshield and stick the RFID FASTag sticker firmly.
Recharge your FASTag using any UPI app (Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, BHIM) by entering your Vehicle Registration Number as the VPA format (e.g., netc.MH12AB1234@bank).
Ensure only one active FASTag is linked to your vehicle to prevent toll booth blacklisting under NHAI rules.
How to update FASTag KYC details and vehicle details online:
Go to fastag.ihmcl.com or open your issuing bank's FASTag portal (e.g., fastag.onlinesbi.sbi, icicibank.com/fastag).
Enter your mobile number and verify using the OTP sent via SMS.
Navigate to the 'KYC Update' section and upload clear photos of your Vehicle Registration Certificate and Aadhaar/Voter ID.
The issuing bank verifies the documents within 24–48 hours and activates your tag.
How to check and manage your digital FASTag statement and Wallet ID:
Log into your issuing bank's mobile banking app or the My FASTag app (by NHAI/IHMCL).
Access your vehicle registration number, Wallet ID balance, and tag status (Active/Low Balance/Blacklisted).
Download monthly toll transaction receipts and tax invoices in PDF format for expense/GST claims.

Input your vehicle registration number (e.g., DL01AB1234) and captcha.
Check if your FASTag is 'Active', 'Low Balance', or 'Blacklisted' across all toll plazas in India.
Under NHAI and IHMCL guidelines, every vehicle must have only ONE active FASTag linked to its Registration Certificate (RC). If a vehicle has multiple tags from different banks, all older tags are deactivated or blacklisted, and only the latest KYC-verified tag remains functional.

A FASTag Wallet ID is a unique 12-to-14 digit prepaid account number assigned to you by the issuing bank. All toll deductions for your vehicle are debited from this wallet. You can use your Wallet ID or Vehicle Registration Number to check balance and recharge via any UPI application.
No. FASTag is a physical Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) chip embedded with an antenna. You cannot print or download it as a paper PDF. If your physical tag is lost or damaged, order a replacement sticker from your issuing bank app for a nominal fee of ₹100.
